Crazy Days

Ok, Ok, so I'm already crazy, I know, but the past few days have made me... well.... MORE crazy!
We have a temp. exchange student, who is great, but I want to find him a perm. home. I did get him enrolled in school for the time being, but it took 3 days to get that done! Yes, 3 days! first the lady who enrolls them wasn't there, then we couldn't find all of his shot records, and I thought they were going to turn us away today because the computers went down! Fortunately, God fixed the comupters just in time for us to get him enrolled.
Then of course there's the stray dog that Tigger found. She's a sweet dog and obviously somebody's pet. SO....., she's happily in OUR back yard while we put signs up in the area. That does mean however that MY dogs are at the back door wondering why there's a "friend" outside who can't come in!
Let's see, I have 3 exchange students with "problems" this week. Looks like one may have cleared up though. I think her travel plans got approved today (after 2 weeks of "lost" paperwork!) I also found that a couple of students need homes in the Carloinas, so I'm sending out a plea to all of my friends "back home" for new host families.
Then there's the dryer, it doesn't. I called the place we bought it, a used appliance place. They were supposed to come out yesterday, but they "forgot" me. they said they would be out today. When they didn't show up at the end of the 2 hour "window" I called them. The phone has been disconnected, both phones!!!!!
I was also "forgotten" by my doctors office. I've been waiting for about a month on a refferal for my back and neck. They "couldn't find it" and didn't call to set it up. When I finally called wondering when I was supposed to go in they figure out the mistake. Now I'm waiting again for them to call with an appointment for me, meanwhile, my back is killing me!
We took the dogs in this past weekend for a $20 nail trim and ended up spending $600 for shots, meds, tests, ect.! Luckily they have a groomer at the vets that could actually take care of MAggie. She is really a handful when she needs a bath or a brushing!
Well, all this whining has made me sleepy. I'm going to take a nap. I LOVE naps!
